2,351 aging-associated genes in the database.

Agedit DB

Agedit DB is a database of aging associated genes and genome editing sequences for CRISPR/cas9 systems. It is being developed and maintained by the Personal Genomics Institute (PGI, Osong, Korea) at the Genome Research Foundation (GRF, http://pgi.re.kr/).

This database aims to provide a quick overview of currently available aging-related information, including the human and model organisms' genes, and CRISPR/Cas9 system sequence information for genome editing.

The Agedit database provides access to free Web resources about more than 200 aging associated genes that integrated from various data resources, such as GenAge (http://genomics.senescence.info/genes)1) and NCBI (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/). The CRISPR/Cas9 system sequence information are carefully gathered and selected by open source programs, such as ssfinder (https://code.google.com/p/ssfinder/ )2).

Agedit database was constructed on 2015 and since then it has taken information update for aging research.
